Welcome to Jopa Project in
India
In the act of giving, something is born,
and both persons involved are grateful for the life that is born for both of
them.
Eric From
The project in India is started with special concern for the
under-privileged women and children in South India. South Indian Charities,
a registered (Reg.No.1009) non-profit organization supervises this project with the help of
volunteers from local churches. We do not spend money in building
offices, buying equipments and hiring workers in managing the project. If we
do that, the money may not reach the people for whom donations are made.
But there is administrative cost involved, here and in India, such as
travel, book-keeping, printing, postage, internet and other related
expenses. These expenses are met from our own personal finance, so that all
donations, 100% go to support the under-privileged women and children.
Women, eligible for assistance based upon their financial
circumstances, social conditions, their expressed desire to
become productive members of the local community, are encouraged to start
their own home-based business. They are selected by the volunteers from the
local churches from different remote villages. At present Jopa Ministries,
Inc. supports the following home based businesses..
Mr. Joseph Wilson & Mrs. Omana Wilson of

The
underprivileged women are able to work and make a living in a
very small scale because of the generous support of the donors.
Your donation of $40 will buy a goat, $80 will buy a sewing machine and
accessories, and about $40 will help to start any one of the businesses
mentioned above. They say thank you from the depth of
their hearts. They may not know who the donors are, but their over-flowing
gratitude will be a real blessing to all the donors. The following pictures
show the different businesses the women own. It is only a
representation of a larger group. Your dollar travels far, providing
these
underprivileged women and children the help they need. Please donate!
Your donation is
tax-deductible under section 501(c )(3) of the tax code.
